The Ministry of Tourism, Wildlife and Antiquities of Uganda is pleased to announce the Annual National Wildlife Conservation Awards 2025 Edition. This prestigious event aims to recognize and honor individuals and institutions that have made significant contributions to the conservation and sustainable management of wildlife resources in Uganda.
Award Categories include: Sustainable Protected Area Management Award , Wildlife Havens Award, Species Recovery Award, Sustainable Eco-tourism Award, Human-Wildlife Harmonious Living Award, Wildlife Research Award, Wildlife Conservation Education Award, Counter Poaching and Trafficking Award, Community Livelihood Award, Young Wildlife Conservationist Award, Wildlife Conservation Media Award, Wildlife Digital Innovations Award & Wildlife Conservation Innovative Financing Award.
Awardees will be honored with specially designed plaques and certificates. They will also be inscribed on the Conservation Heroes List for Uganda, with potential additional benefits and recognitions from the Government.
