3 days Bwindi gorilla tracking, The 3 days Bwindi gorilla tracking safari is a magical short gorilla safari set for you to explore the misty Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, a haven to half of all the 1063 mountain gorillas which presently still exist in the world. Day 1: Drive from Kampala/Entebbe to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Day one of your Uganda gorilla safari to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park starts with you enjoying your delicious cup of tea or coffee. After, meet and greet your tour driver then leave the hotel in Kampala/Entebbe ready to hit the road to Southwestern Uganda about 8-9 hours’ drive depending on stopovers.

You will drive from Kampala-Masaka-Mbarara to Kabale and in between, make a stopover at equator crossing for photography. Connect to Igongo Cultural Village for lunch and then continue to Bwindi in Southwestern Uganda with en-route scenic view of countryside. Relax, dine and spend a night at gorilla safari lodge that you booked.

Day 2: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi and Batwa cultural experience

Your second day of this 3 days Bwindi gorilla tracking safari begins with breakfast then you report to respective region as per your gorilla permit for briefing on safety measures/gorilla trekking rules you have to pay attention on a trek to see mountain gorillas. If you spent a night a bit far, the driver will pick you up then you join the rest of the visitors for 7:00am briefing.

You will be separated into groups of 8 and each group will be led by one park ranger guide. At 8:00am, expect to commence your gorilla trekking adventure to view mountain gorillas in the wild. Since this primate adventure involves navigating through the lush tropical rain-forest and steep slopes, ensure you are physically fit or have some packed lunch/snacks and bottled drinking water.

You will spend approximately 2 to 6 hours exploring the jungles to see these rare creatures and this includes one hour of magical encounter plus photo taking. Retreat thereafter to the briefing point to get your gorilla trekking certificate before connecting to the lodge to relax.

In the afternoon, you will head out to the Batwa Pygmy Community for cultural exploration. The Batwa are well-known as forest dwellers; they spent about 500000 of their time in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest as hunters and gatherers. After incredible interaction, get back to the lodge chill, dine and spend a night.
