Uganda launched “Unveiling the Hidden Pearl of Africa” at Kilifair Tourism Expo in Arusha to promote its landscapes, culture, wildlife, and investment. The event, East Africa’s largest tourism expo, brings together over 500 exhibitors and 1,000+ international visitor.
Uganda aims to boost tourism, which earned $1.28 billion in 2024, and increase sector growth by leveraging regional cooperation through the “Visit East Africa – Feel the Vibe” campaign. The theme “Where Business Meets Wildlife” underscores tourism’s role in economic and regional development.
This event offers a platform for Uganda to promote its ecosystems, wildlife, and scenic landscapes to a broader audience. It boosts tourism, attracts international visitors, and highlight its rich natural heritage to iconic sites such as Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, Murchison Falls, Queen Elizabeth National Park, Kibale forest National park and many other diverse ecosystems .
