The inaugural Uganda-China Tourism and Cultural Symposium will be held from January 20th to 26th, 2025. Under the theme “Bridging Cultures, Enhancing Cooperation: Unlocking Uganda-China Tourism Potential,” this event aims to strengthen cultural exchanges, foster tourism partnerships, and promote sustainable development.
Organized by Uganda’s Ministry of Tourism, Wildlife and Antiquities in collaboration with the Embassy of China in Kampala, the symposium will gather key stakeholders, including 15 tourism leaders and members of the Chinese community in Uganda and East Africa.
Key Objectives include Knowledge Exchange, Strategic Partnerships among tourism stakeholders 7 Cultural Exchange between both nations’ cultures through performances and exhibitions.
The symposium aims to position Uganda as a leading destination for Chinese travelers and strengthen bilateral ties.
