DETAILED ITINERARY:
Day 1: Bird watching in Entebbe
After breakfast, depart with your camera and binoculars ready to go bird watching at Entebbe. Today, you will visit the amazing bird sights of Uganda Wildlife Education Centre (UWEC), the Entebbe Botanical Gardens, as well as the shores of Lake Victoria. Have the opportunity to view a variety of birds like the Golden backed weaver, black necked weaver, swamp flycatcher, African goshawk, African fish eagle and a lot more.
After, transfer to your Hotel/lodge (BB)
Day 2: Bird watching in Mabamba Wetland
Connect to Mabamba Wetland by boat for bird watching. Today, the focus will be to identify several water birds especially the shoebill stork as well as the white faced whistling ducks, African jacana, black headed heron moorhen, yellow billed duck, long toed plovers, African water rail to mention but a few.
Later, Return to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.(BB)
Day 3: Transfer to Lake Mburo
Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park after breakfast (+/- 5hrs). Have a stopover at the equator for a photographic opportunity and a visit to the royal drum makers. After lunch take a boat cruise to see hippos, crocodiles and water birds. Look out for the African grey hornbill, emerald spotted wood dove and others.

Day 4: Bird watching in Lake Mburo National Park
After breakfast, start your bird watching tour in the Park through the lush savannas. Over 315 bird species can be found here with birds like shoebill stork, African wattled lapwing, long tailed Cisticola, brown chested lapwing, saddle billed stork, papyrus yellow warbler, white winged warblers, African scops owl, Abyssinian ground hornbill, blue breasted kingfishers, hairy breasted barbet, yellow rumped Tinkerbird and a lot more.
After lunch, go for a game drive with opportunity to view lions, leopards, zebras, Rothschild giraffes, antelopes etc. Dinner and overnight @ your lodge (FB)
Day 5: Transfer to Kampala/Entebbe
After breakfast, take an early morning game drive to view early morning risers and bird species, before driving back to Kampala / Entebbe. Transfer to your residence or next destination.
