4 days Kidepo Valley Wildlife Safari:

The Kidepo Valley National park Safari is a typical African wilderness safari leading to Uganda’s most stunning and endowed National Park found in the extreme north-eastern corner of the country.
The Park has more than 75 species of mammals, over 475 bird species and an abundance of reptiles not found in other safari Parks.

You can spot  cheetahs, serval cats, jackals, Jackson’s hartebeests, leopards, lions, duikers, striped  hyenas, zebras, Rothschild giraffes, lesser kudus, warthogs, elephants, buffaloes and the rare Ostriches. Also explore the cultural interactions and guided hikes among others.

BRIEF ITINERARY:
Day 1: Transfer to Kidepo Valley National Park
Day 2: Morning & Afternoon game drives
Day 3: Guided nature walk and Cultural visit to the Karamojong community.
Day 4: Transfer to Kampala/Entebbe.

DETAILED ITINERARY:

Day 1: Transfer to Kidepo Valley National Park
After an early breakfast, depart for Kidepo Valley National Park (+/- 9hrs). Arrive at the park in the evening.
Transfer to your lodge (HB)

Day 2: Morning & Afternoon game drives
Today, take a morning game drive through the Narus Valley (the oasis of the Park) as well as areas around Kanangorok hot springs where unique wildlife and bird species especially the giant Ostriches will be spotted in large numbers. After this rewarding drive, return to the Lodge for lunch and rest.

Later, take an afternoon game drive to view more wildlife including zebras, lesser and greater Kudus, lions on the rock kopjes if lucky, Rothschild giraffes, zebras, elephants, buffaloes and beautiful bird species.

This park also has nocturnal wildlife species like cheetahs, leopards, lions, striped hyenas, bush babies, pottos, serval cats and even the jackals.
Dinner and overnight (FB).

Day 3: Guided nature walk & Cultural visit.
This morning, depart for a guided nature walk with your ranger/guide to Hike the Morungole Mountain to visit the exciting IK people with their awe-inspiring culture.

Later,  visit the nearby Karamojong communities for a wonderful cultural experience. Experience The Manyattas, the traditional cultural dances and traditional dishes of these interesting people.
Return to the Lodge for dinner and overnight (FB).

Day 4: Transfer to Kampala/Entebbe.
Depart early morning for your journey back to Kampala or Entebbe. Transfer to your residence OR Airport. (HB)
