1 day Ziwa rhino Tracking:
The 1-day Ziwa rhino tracking tour is a unique Uganda safari trip taking you to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary to see the white rhinos in the wild. This rhino sanctuary is located along Kampala-Gulu highway, 7kms from Nakitooma-Nakasongola district. Rhino tracking is a remarkable guided nature walk experience worth taking part in.
Sitting on an area of 70sq.kms, its strategic location makes it a perfect point to make a stopover on Uganda safari to Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda’s largest park.
Your one day Uganda excursion trip starts and ends in Kampala OR Entebbe.
ITINERARY:
Meet and greet your safari guide, and begin your +/- 4hrs road trip through Luwero Triangle to Nakasongola to track rhinos. Meet the site guides for a briefing on guidelines and what you expect while on tour to see the Rhinos.
While tracking, you have opportunity to see several other mammal species including antelopes plus bird species. Only one hour shall be allowed for you to interact with rhinos and the amazing part is taking pictures of these rare species while on foot.
After the experience, have lunch and share memories, and later, depart for your return trip back to Kampala or Entebbe. Transfer to your hotel or place of residence.
